Tesseract is an ongoing design research project on developing interactive objects that can be controlled by its users both in terms of design and functionality. The name and shape of the light pendant lamp derive  from  the four dimensional analog of a cube. It is  is made up of bespoke 3d printed joints and straight rods. The rods are modular can be switched to being themselves the lighting source.  The  color and brightness of the light source can be controlled remotely with a smartphone thus providing the ambient light of the space.
